FUNDAMENTALS

The Fundamentals class is designed for those who want to learn the foundational concepts of Jiu-Jitsu.  It’s open to all, from total beginners to advanced students who wish to understand the fundamentals of control and escape in the six key positions of Jiu-Jitsu: Mount, Side Mount, Guard, Half-Guard, Back Mount, and Standing. This class includes positional sparring.

This class will be on Tuesdays and will be strictly No-Gi (workout shirt and shorts/pants).

Class Format:

  • 60-minute class

  • 15-minute: Basic Warmups

  • 30-minute: Techniques focused on the Topic of the week

  • 15-minute: Positional Sparring
